🛒 Ingredients
For Aloo Tikki:

3 medium-sized boiled potatoes

2 tbsp cornflour or arrowroot powder

½ tsp cumin powder

½ tsp garam masala

Salt to taste

Oil for shallow frying
For Chaat Assembly:

½ cup plain yogurt (whisked)

¼ cup tamarind chutney

¼ cup green chutney
-
½ cup finely chopped onions

½ cup chopped tomatoes

¼ cup boiled chickpeas (optional)

2 tbsp nylon sev
-
Chaat masala, red chili powder, and chopped coriander leaves for garnish
👩🍳 Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Aloo Tikki

Mash boiled potatoes in a bowl while still warm.

Add cornflour, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt.

Mix well to form a smooth, non-sticky dough.
Step 2: Shape and Fry the Tikkis

Divide the dough into 6 equal portions.

Roll and flatten each into a disc shape.

Heat 2–3 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan.

Shallow fry tikkis on medium flame until golden brown and crisp on both sides.
Step 3: Assemble the Chaat

Place 2–3 hot tikkis on a serving plate.

Spoon 2–3 tbsp whisked yogurt over the tikkis.

Drizzle green chutney and tamarind chutney generously.
Step 4: Add Crunch and Garnish

Sprinkle chopped onions, tomatoes, and boiled chickpeas if using.

Top with nylon sev.

Dust with chaat masala, red chili powder, and chopped coriander leaves.
Step 5: Serve Fresh
